The Truth and Reconciliation Commission ran from 2008 to 2015 and provided those directly or indirectly affected by the legacy of the residential schools policy with an opportunity to share their stories and experiences. The film was produced as part of the Training and Employment Network (TEN) program. The video is intended to welcome newcomer entrepreneurs and immigrant business owners to Saskatchewan and encourage them to grow their business and stay in the province long-term.
