There are various webinars, workshops and e-training opportunities currently available virtually on topics and issues of interests and importance to newcomers, immigrants and refugees.
These webinars, workshops and e-training opportunities are free for you to attend and are hosted by different organizations throughout our region. The webinars have presenters who specialize in specific topics and will provide beneficial information to the attendees. These are all offered virtually from the comfort of your own home!

This online presentation by the Government of Saskatchewan provides Newcomers to Saskatchewan with comprehensive information about their rights and responsibilities as employees under the Saskatchewan Employment Act and Regulations.
This online presentation by the SGI Traffic Safety Community Outreach Program discusses relevant driving information for New Canadians, including winter driving and how to ensure you are prepared for the winter road conditions. This presentation is approximately 45 minutes long.
Join our free classes and learn about the rights nd respoonsibility of Canadian citizens and about Canada's history, government laws, symbols, economy and geography. These classes are typically held in the afternoon (1:00pm - 3:00pm) during the work week. Our next tutorial is scheduled for March 25, 2026.
We are proud to provide newcomers with Driver education sessions, which is an essential aspect of integrating into a new community or country. It enables newcomers to familiarize themselves with the traffic rules and regulations, learn about driving etiquette, and understand the nuances of local roads and routes.
